Triple Impact Coaching. Use-of-Self in the Coaching Process was first published in 2006 and has sold over 6000 copies world-wide. It includes a foreward by Charles N Seashore Ph.D and exercises from Edith Whitfield Seashore who both taught many of us the foundations of Use-of-Self, and the foundations of organizational development.
It also includes the original Triple Impact Coaching Model, concepts, tools, stories and examples from 3 companies (Proceco, VIA Rail and Transcontinental Media) who shared their experiences with this coaching approach at a time when this type of coaching was very unique.
Triple Impact Coaching is a cascading or layered approach to coaching that focuses on the importance of understanding your own Use of Self as a coach so you can be more intentional with your choices and obtain the impact that you need and desire. It is simple, profound and infinitely complex all at the same time.
During this COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve witnessed the countless efforts of front-line health care and human services workers. Many of these front-line staff are Camosun College alumni who studied at the School of Health and Human Services. And so, to support the future of health and human services, we’ve established a new award with Camosun: Leading Meaningful Change Award. This award will support a student pursuing an education in this field at Camosun, a student who gives back to their community and is passionate about their chosen vocation.
